Created me a mojo bag for dewi sri and a spiritual drink to represent the green liquid she gave me in the dream. I will use the mojo bag for the rest of my 40 day challenge by holding it while chanting. On day 40, I will release the contents to represent releasing kundalini. The drink was pretty darn good too. It made me think about Christmas as I was drinking it. I’m not sure what that means but I’ll definitely be trying to visit that image in the dream world to decode its meaning.
Today was a sweet ending to a magical struggle. So many things have been brought to my awareness. A while back I channelled a group of seven entities from the underworld. When I channelled them they said there was one more missing god in the pantheon and once he came to me they could be used because they bow down only to him. I made them a spiritual pot according to their request. At the very bottom of the pot I was given a sigil that represented the missing god. They said nothing was needed in the pot for him except that symbol. I been raising them up and figured out when the time is ready i will learn who the missing god is.
Before falling asleep for the past two days I have asked Dewi Sri to show me a spiritual truth I have failed to see. Today i got my answer when i took a nap. In the dream I met this very ugly woman in this swamp area. She said we had to get to the deepest parts of the swamp before day break. So to make a long story short we reached the end of the swamp. I was tired as hell and asked her for some ginger ale. She said ‘oh yeah I forget you haven’t been back this far in a long time’. We laughed she poured me this drink that was green and handed it to me. I drank the liquid down fast, she poured me more. I drank that too. After my third cup I noticed the sigil of the missing god at the bottom of the cup! I asked her what does this symbol mean in this cup and she said laughing hysterically ‘I don’t know its your cup!’
With that being said a whole new level of magick has opened up. A whole new beginning for me. Day 4 was an amazing day.
I’ve read many times that sex and magick are similar. I couldn’t agree more because if magick techniques were sex toys, then my closet was full of real life sex dolls, porn on vhs, sex swings, strobe lights to set the mood, turkish ball massagers, etc. Metaphorically speaking it felt good cleaning out my closet and returning back to the ancient science of breaking backs the way the ancestors did it lol.
Today I did my first round of chanting to my goddess. I will be seeking the wisdom that she can offer me for self deification. I have decided to dedicate my entire forty minutes to chanting her name and singing funny made up songs with her name and characteristics in them. All the songs I made up were spur of the moment and sounded like sing along songs for kids, negro spirituals, rap songs or r&b lol.
However, this technique proved to be very powerful. I lit her one of those 4 hour tea light candles. She fed of the energy so much during and after my chanting session that the candle burned out within two hours! Tonight while I am falling asleep I will meditate on a rice field to summon her in my dreams and see where she takes me.
Its day one of the challenge. I was a little nervous when I started remembering my previous 40 day meditation cycles. They can get pretty brutal towards the end just because repetition can be very tedious on the mind.
I did a card reading followed by a short meditation to pick my deity. The energy thats around me tough right now is Dewi Sri. She’s a goddess of rice, agriculture, the underworld, moon, wealth, and beauty.
She came to me in a dream before when I first moved to Atl, but I never got around to dealing with her. I acknowledged her presence, but that was it. I guess she has some valuable wisdom I need to remember since she’s back.
Today I didn’t chant for my goddess though. I chanted to have strength to put my unsatisfactory magick practices down, and get back to the magick that works magick.
This morning I read through my first magic journal book thingy and seen this 40 day mantra practice I used to do for all the deities I worked with. This routine was formative in my magic development and it produces great results and powerful channels. All I used for the practice was my intention, my sincerity, a candle and the timer on my cell phone. At the end of those 40 days I always either built a strong bond with a deity or created change in my life.
I’m starting up this 40 Day Magick Challenge as a challenge to myself to get back to the basics. I have worked very hard to get to where I am and I don’t want to throw my efforts away for vanity purposes. What I mean by this is I have noticed the more complicated my practice has become the less results I actually produce. The rituals/spells I have been doing may look cool and fancy, but nothing is coming from them except a lot of money spent and minimal results.
So back to the basics I go!!!! If you would like to join me here are the rules…
1. Pick one deity or energy or spirit or ancestor or superhero or tarot card or rune or planet or goetia or angel or element to be worked with for the next 40 days.
2. Find or create an affirmation or mantra or invocation or verse or poem or scripture related to the deity…
3. Everyday for the next 40 days spend 40 minutes in the day or night, dedicated to the practice…
You will reciting your mantra, affirmation, scripture, invocation, etc for 40 minutes a day…
Or you can break your practice up like this…
20 minutes repeating the chant, affirmation, invocation or mantra and 20 minute doing astral travel or visualization or sex magick or meditation or reiki or you can do spellwork related to the deity or you can talk to the deity or whatever you feel is suitable…
